A Pleasant Homecoming

In October we traveled north to Mount Pleasant to visit the main campus of Central Michigan University, TJ's school, and to attend the homecoming football game. We stayed at a beautiful Bavarian bed and breakfast and then watched a great football game--just what you would want--close game, exciting, but a certain victory for the CMU Chips. Ron and Carol took great care of us at the Country Chalet Bed and Breakfast--peach french toast and raspberries fresh from the garden for breakfast. They are quite a couple, and we enjoyed chatting with them, especially about the Flathead Valley, one of their favorite vacation spots! We spent Sunday wandering around the CMU campus and buying CMU shirts and postcards. It was such a pleasant weekend that we hope to return to Mount Pleasant again before leaving Michigan.
