Writing to you now from Montana I am thrilled to report that we made it! Our trip was perfect, uneventful and as enjoyable as one could expect from a drive across the country in a Uhaul. We were lucky to get a brand new Uhaul--91 miles on it when we began the trip. Thank you to Rich and MaryAnn, Gail and John, Grandma, and Mom for housing us as we traveled--we were so glad to combine some good visiting with our move. We covered more than 2000 miles by the time we returned the truck. The photo is of the Bitterroot Mountains on the way back to Kalispell after visiting family in Missoula.
